I seem to have a completely different relationship with food—I don’t think about food—I think I used to always have it on my mind on some level. Although I have been getting very good A1C results for the last few years (5.7 at my annual in April and 5.9 just last month) I have noticed that since taking Akkermansia my evening post prandial and morning fasting results have improved even more and are very consistent from day to day. I have to believe it is due to the probiotic. I can't wait to see what my next A1C result is in April 2023.

Thanks for your feedback. We would encourage you to keep taking Akkermansia for at least 3 months. In a clinical study with a product that included Akkermansia muciniphila (along with 4 other strains), it was found that after 4 weeks of stopping the product after taking it for 3 months, over 80% of participants were missing one of the strains in their stool. This data may indicate that continued use of the product is required in order to have the Akkermansia muciniphila strain persist within the microbiome.
